Dear Chuck,
Let me re-repeat myself: "I have written you extensively on the subject of the unjust and unconstitutional criminalization of males and dads. (3-14-99)"
"I have written to you before expressing my concern that unconstitutional laws such as the Violence Against Women Act, and the Child Support Recovery Act have been enacted exclusively as legislation on behalf of "groups", rather than as protections for individuals as the constitution requires. (1-19-99)"
"Two years ago, I wrote to you in April, May and June arguing that the Violence Against Women Act was and is unconstitutional. (3-14-99)"
I am now writing again. And I am enclosing articles from Cathy Young (http://www.dadi.org/CY_Zowee.htm) and Kathleen Parker (http://www.dadi.org/KP_battr.htm) in support of these positions. These have been published in the Detroit News, the Orlando Sentinel, the Jewish World Review, and hundreds of other papers nationwide, as well as on the DA*DI pages.
I have also enclosed a copy of the website report for DA*DI for the month of March, 1999 indicating that we are growing by leaps and bounds, now reaching nearly 7000 readers per month.
Now we see that DHHS is pursuing Disenfranchised Dads with Federal Gunslingers.
As Cathy Young has so accurately summarized; "neither Liberals nor Conservatives have shown much interest in the problems of disenfranchised fathers."
Please, don't send a politically correct, condescending response on these topics. We are plain-spoken folks and highly motivated Dad and Family advocates. The DA*DI site cannot stand silently idle while our elected representatives endorse the feminization of America and radically feminized policies that continue to destroy its essential foundation.
When does the demonization of Dads and men end, Chuck?
Sincerely,
Gerald L. Rowles, Ph.D.
